Academy of Art University at New York Fashion Week

This Friday I went to New York Fashion week to visit Academy of Art University's fashion show. The students designed and presented the clothing on the runway.

 I took this picture when I was walking down the street trying to find the place. That was it. I was like "wow, I get to go in there?"

 It was 9/11 so you could see the Empire State Building glowing red, white, and blue. 

 This is what the runway looked like. I was confused at first because there were seats in the middle of the runway, so I was trying to figure out where the models walked. Then I realized it was a U-shaped runway.

 They gave us a program and a magazine.

 The show was supposed to start at 8 pm but it started at around 8:30 because people were still coming in. Also, they might have still been preparing for the show.

 I forgot to bring my camera so I was taking pictures on my phone, therefore it was not fast enough to capture all of the designs. Leather dress by Max Lu and Jingci Jesse Wang.

I am grateful for this experience and I hope I can go to New York Fashion Week again someday.
